odbus RTU protocol over a high-speed RS485 serial bus. The modules can be installed even hundreds of meters away, allowing for simplified wiring and reduced installation costs.
Equipped with galvanic isolation on both input and output ports. The static outputs, implemented with high-current MOSFETs, are protected against permanent short circuits, overvoltage, and overtemperature.
Visual indicators with high-brightness LEDs show the status of all I/Os, including a power-on self-test function.
Includes a programmable timer to force outputs into a safe (inactive) state in case of communication loss.
Configurable on the fieldbus using direct Modbus commands, library function blocks, CoDeSys, and PC-based software.
Easily integrated into CoDeSys “PLC Configuration” via configuration files.
Modbus protocol extensions allow I/O updates at 1 Mb/s in a single frame exchange.
